OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR/QUARTERBACKS COACH
Mike Johnson - ex-UCLA Offensive Coordinator
- San Diego Chargers QB coach in 2000 and '01. Paul Chryst was the Chargers TE coach from 1999-2001.
- WR coach at Oregon State in 1997 and '98, when Chryst was the Beavers' offensive coordinator.
RUNNING BACKS COACH
Jeff Horton - San Diego State Running Backs Coach
- QB coach at Wisconsin from 1999-2005. Paul Chryst was the TE coach at Wisconsin in 2002 and came back as offensive coordinator in 2005, where he has been up until taking the head coaching job at Pitt.
ASSISTANT HEAD COACH/WIDE RECEIVERS COACH
DelVaughn Alexander - Wisconsin Wide Receivers Coach
- WR coach at Wisconsin from 2007-present, where he has worked with Paul Chryst, who was the offensive coordinator.
- WR coach at Oregon State in 1998 and again in 2003 and '04, when Chryst was the team's offensive coordinator.
- Offensive assistant with the San Diego Chargers in 1999, when Chryst was the Chargers' TE coach.
TIGHT ENDS COACH
Bob Palcic - ex-UCLA Offensive Line Coach
- OL coach at Wisconsin in 2006 and '07, working with offensive coordinator Paul Chryst.
OFFENSIVE LINE COACH
Jim Hueber - ex-Minnesota Vikings Assistant Offensive Line Coach
- Coached at Wisconsin from 1992-2005. Paul Chryst coached at Wisconsin in 2002 and again from 2005-11.
DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR/DEFENSIVE LINE COACH
Charlie Partridge - Wisconsin Co-Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Line Coach
- DL coach at Wisconsin since 2008.
- Coached defensive ends at Pitt from 2003-07.

- Coached at Wisconsin from 2006-2009, working on staff with Paul Chryst.
