Joe Moorhead has left to become the new head coach at Fordham. Here is our list of potential candidates to replace him as UConn's quarterbacks coach:
Steve Bush - Miami Dolphins Wide Receivers Coach
- Worked as an offensive quality control coach for the Dolphins from 2008-10. Paul Pasqualoni was the Dolphins defensive coordinator in 2008 and '09 and George DeLeone coached the team's tight ends.
- QB coach at Syracuse from 2000-04. Pasqualoni was the head coach at Syracuse from 1992-2004 and DeLeone was the OL coach during Bush's time with the program.
- Played defensive back at Southern Connecticut State, where George DeLeone was his head coach and Paul Pasqualoni was an assistant.
Matt Rhule - Temple Tight Ends Coach
- Has been on staff at Temple since 2006. George DeLeone was the Owls' offensive coordinator in 2006 and '07.
Kevin Rogers - ex-Boston College Offensive Coordinator
- QB coach at Syracuse from 1991-98, including two years as offensive coordinator. He was on staff with both Paul Pasqualoni and George DeLeone during his time at Syracuse.
- Left Boston College in September for "health reasons," we are unsure of his health status and coaching future at this time.
