Indiana Coaching Staff

Kevin Wilson has been hired as the new head coach at Indiana, replacing Bill Lynch. Wilson has been the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma, where he was previously the offensive line coach since 2002. Prior to that, Wilson was the offensive coordinator at Northwestern and Miami (Ohio). The coaching tree has projected possible candidates to fill the Hoosiers' coaching staff:

* = Candidate to fill a role as coordinator

Ken Zampese* is in his eighth year as QB coach for the Cincinnati Bengals. He has also been an assistant with the Rams, Packers, and Eagles since entering the NFL ranks.

  • Ken Zampese: QB coach at Miami (Ohio) in 1996 and '97, when Kevin Wilson was the offensive coordinator.

Louis Ayeni is in his first year as RB coach at Toledo. He came to Toledo after two seasons as a graduate assistant at Northwestern, his alma mater.

Bobby Johnson* is the assistant offensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills, where he is in his first season. He is in his fifth season with the Sooners. Steve Addazio* is in his sixth season at Florida, where he has coached tight ends and offensive line, and is currently the offensive coordinator. • Steve Addazio: OL coach at Indiana from 2002-04. Was the OC in 2004.

Jonathan Hayes is the tight ends coach for the Cincinnati Bengals, where he has been since 2003. While he wouldn't likely leave the Bengals for Indiana, he may be out of a job based on Cincinnati's 2-11 record. Jeff Genyk is in his first year coaching tight ends and special teams at Cal. Genyk was the head coach at Eastern Michigan from 2004-08, where he had a record of 15-42.

Mike Yeager is currently the linebackers coach at Indiana, where he is in his sixth year on staff. Yeager also spent five years coaching at the College of Wooster.
