Greg McMackin has retired as head coach at Hawaii after four seasons and a record of 29-25. The coaching tree has come up with the following potential replacements:
Ivin Jasper - Navy Offensive Coordinator
- Spent the last two seasons as Hawaii's offensive coordinator after starting as the team's QB coach in 2008.
- Played QB at Hawaii in 2000 and '01 and came back as a student assistant coach in 2003 and '04.
Dino Babers - Baylor Wide Receivers/Special Teams Coach
- Played running back at Hawaii from 1980-83 and worked as a graduate assistant with the team in 1984.
