Norm Chow is the new head coach at Hawaii. Here is our projection of who he will hire on his coaching staff:

QUARTERBACKS COACH
Nick Rolovich* - Hawaii Offensive Coordinator
- Has been the offensive coordinator at Hawaii the last two seasons after working as the QB coach in 2008 and '09.
- Was a student assistant coach in 2003 and '04 after playing quarterback at Hawaii in 2000 and '01.
- Graduate assistant at BYU in 1985 and '86, where Norm Chow was the offensive coordinator.
- Was an administrative assistant with the Titans in 2006 and '07, Norm Chow's two seasons as the team's offensive coordinator.
- Worked as an offensive assistant at USC in 2003 and '04, when Chow was the Trojans offensive coordinator.
- Played QB at USC in 2000 and '01. Chow came to USC in 2001.
RUNNING BACKS COACH
Inoke Funaki - Hawaii Graduate Assistant
- Spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at Hawaii after playing for the team from 2006-09.
WIDE RECEIVERS COACH
Ron Lee - Kalani High School Offensive Coordinator
- Coached at Hawaii from 1999-2009 as WR coach and his last two seasons as offensive coordinator.
- Graduate assistant at Hawaii in 1987 and '88.
- Ron's brother, Cal, has been on the Hawaii staff for the last seven seasons.
- Graduate assistant at Hawaii in 2008 after playing for the team from 1998-2001.
- His brother, Billy Ray, is currently a wide receiver on the team.
- Played WR at Hawaii from 1999-2001 before playing in the NFL for seven seasons.
- Has worked with the team in some capacity (manager/student coach) for the last two seasons.
TIGHT ENDS COACH
Brian Smith - Hawaii Running Backs Coach
- Has been on staff at Hawaii since 2008, coaching both running backs and offensive line.
- Worked as a student assistant with the team in 2004 after his playing career as an offensive lineman from 1998-2001.
OFFENSIVE LINE COACH
Robert Anae* - Arizona Offensive Line Coach
- Graduate assistant at BYU in 1990 and '91 after playing for the Cougars from 1981-84. Norm Chow was an assistant coach at BYU from 1975-99.
- Started his coaching career as an assistant at Hawaii in 1986 and '87.
- Has already been retained at Arizona by Rich Rodriguez, but could be lured to Hawaii with an offer to be the offensive coordinator.
- Offensive line coach at USC in 2001 and '02, Norm Chow's first two seasons as offensive coordinator.
- Graduate assistant at BYU in 1985 and '86 after playing for the team from 1974-77. Chow joined the BYU staff in 1975 and stayed until going to NC State in 2000.
DEFENSIVE LINE COACH
Tony Tuioti - Hawaii Defensive Tackles Coach
- Has been on the Hawaii staff since 2008.
- Started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Hawaii in 2000 and '01 after playing DL for the team from 1996-99.
Joe Seumalo* - Oregon State Defensive Line Coach
- Graduate assistant at Hawaii in 1999 and 2000.
- Played DL at Hawaii from 1985-88.
Todd Howard - ex-Washington State Defensive Line Coach
- DL coach at UCLA from 2006-10, where Norm Chow was the offensive coordinator from 2008-10.
LINEBACKERS COACH
Cal Lee - Hawaii Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Ends Coach
- Has been on the Hawaii staff since 2005, including two seasons (2008-09) as defensive coordinator.
Dallas Sartz - UC Davis Defensive Ends Coach
- Played linebacker at USC from 2002-06, where Norm Chow was the offensive coordinator from 2001-05.
DEFENSIVE BACKS COACH
Rocky Seto* - Seattle Seahawks Assistant Defensive Backs Coach
- Coached at USC from 1999-2009 after playing DB for the Trojans in 1997 and '98, where he worked with Norm Chow for five seasons.
Rich Miano - Hawaii Defensive Backs Coach
- Has been the DB coach at Hawaii since 1999 and played DB for the team from 1982-84.
- Played DB at Hawaii from 1987-90.
SPECIAL TEAMS COACH
Dick Tomey - Hawaii Special Teams Coach
- Came back to the Hawaii staff as special teams coach in 2011. Tomey was the head coach at Hawaii from 1977-86.
